Isabela State University
Usually, Kalayaan Atin Ito’s Freedom Caravan has its own program. Isabela State University was the first school to have (voluntarily) prepared one for us and we are utterly thankful for their great effort to welcome and support us. Starting with Dr. Saulo Aggabao’s enthusiasm, Atty. Albert Laciste Jr’s personal correspondence with us to be able to participate in our Freedom Caravan at ISU, and ending with one of ISU’s students, Adrian, joining us for our next scheduled caravan at Cagayan made the 14+ hours of travel from Rizal worth it. What’s even more touching is that ISU and Atty. Laciste Jr are willing and eager to help with our caravan at Quirino. These are the kind of people that our country needs the most– the ones who are ready and willing to do what they can for the sake of our country and fellow Filipinos. It was this kind of support that, personally, made me choked up as everyone sang ‘Bayan Ko’ at the end of the event.
Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino, mabuhay ang ISU, #KalayaanAtinIto!
